Star Wars: The Old Republic (+PC related chat)

Hey all,

Havn't posted anything for a while so thought i'd get involved. Am currently building myself a PC for the old republic, battlefield 3, and Skyrim, which isn't going well... somehow managed to get sent one of the only faulty graphics card that are around in the world. lol. Even managed to install the processor chip to the motherboard ok. So hopefully after that is sorted it should be complete.

I will be playing the story etc with StoredCris (for those of you who know of him)
But I hear that there is some pretty tasty looking PVP going on. So was thinking if we all make sure we join the same world/galaxy/server. Then there could be potential for some inter-galactic clan rivalries getting down?

Yeah I don't know if i'l overclock it in the end? Would need to get some silver heat sink compound if I did, and plan to SLI two gtx570 when the time comes...
A bit risky tho, as I'm teaching myself everything as I go. lol.
Yeah its looking pretty good so far seen some PVP test matches on the youtube, and looking pretty sweet.

Nice rig paul! ye like ross i need to see it in action before i buy it but the pvp does look a beast. definatly up for some clan guilding if it works out tho.

i plan to get a second gpu the same as the one already in to sli them but not sure if i have the space on my motherboard as the card is massive and might collide with the sata input

Sweet system dude. I got them in an Advent Centurion CPQ9104 case (without the clear side panel. And have them connected into my 32" Samsung tv with my xbox and ps3 all my gaming goodness, changed at the press of a button.
And as if you have already overclocked the 580?? lol

yup stock speed is 800 i've got mine up at 950 but its capable of 1200 thanks to the msi heat sink on the card

battlefield 3 ultra visuals at 60fps+

i need a new pc

wow finally got my replacement graphics card after the original was faulty... same gtx 570, also went all out and got a 120GB SSD for windows, and games, all else is going on the 500GB standard
Yeah dan its good when it finally works!!! but i wont think too much about how much iv spent so far....
